My cat is currently on other medications for a different condition. Is it safe to administer PearlZie to him?
No adverse effects were noted in field trials for dogs and cats that were given PearlZie in conjunction with other frequently used medications. Nonetheless, your veterinarian is the ultimate authority on your pet’s health, so it’s important to consult them about all the treatments your pet is receiving, including prescription drugs and over-the-counter supplements.
Can PearlZie chews be split?
It is advised to administer PearlZie chews whole without breaking them. If a chew is divided, ensure the cat still consumes the complete dosage.
What should be done if a cat vomits after consuming a PearlZie chew?
If vomiting occurs, consult your veterinarian to determine whether to administer another dose. However, if an otherwise healthy dog vomits within 3 hours of taking PearlZie, it is suggested to re-administer the dose. To minimize the risk of further vomiting, it is recommended to wait 24 hours before re-administering.
