Use During Pregnancy, Lactation, or Lay:
The safety of the veterinary medicinal product in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs has been demonstrated. It can be used in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs.
Interaction with Other Medicinal Products:
Fluralaner is highly bound to plasma proteins and might compete with other highly bound active substances such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and the coumarin derivative warfarin. Incubation of Fluralaner in the presence of carprofen or warfarin in dog plasma at maximum expected plasma concentrations did not reduce the protein binding of Fluralaner, carprofen, or warfarin. During clinical field testing, no interactions between PearlZie Chewable tablets for dogs and routinely used veterinary medicinal products were observed.
Precautions:
1. This product should not be used on puppies under 8 weeks and/or dogs weighing less than 2 kg.
2. Dogs allergic to this product should not use it.
3. The dosing interval of this product should not be less than 8 weeks.
4. Can be used in breeding dogs, pregnant, and lactating bitches.
5. Fluralaner has a high binding rate to plasma proteins and may compete with other drugs with high protein binding rates for plasma protein binding, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and coumarin derivative warfarin. In the in vitro plasma incubation test, it was not found that Fluralaner competed with carprofen and warfarin for plasma protein binding. Clinical trials have not found any interaction between Fluralaner and daily medication in dogs.
6. In case of any serious reactions or other adverse reactions not mentioned in this manual, please seek medical advice promptly.

My dog is currently on other medications for a different condition. Is it safe to administer PearlZie to him?
No adverse effects were noted in field trials for dogs and cats that were given PearlZie in conjunction with other frequently used medications. Nonetheless, your veterinarian is the ultimate authority on your pet’s health, so it’s important to consult them about all the treatments your pet is receiving, including prescription drugs and over-the-counter supplements.
Can PearlZie chews be split?
It is advised to administer PearlZie chews whole without breaking them. If a chew is divided, ensure the dog still consumes the complete dosage.
What should be done if a dog vomits after consuming a PearlZie chew?
If vomiting occurs, consult your veterinarian to determine whether to administer another dose. However, if an otherwise healthy dog vomits within 3 hours of taking PearlZie, it is suggested to re-administer the dose. To minimize the risk of further vomiting, it is recommended to wait 24 hours before re-administering.
