Edible cards have filled the gap in the market, and Scoff Paper filled it with joy and humor.
The brand is the brainchild of Gemma Connolly, who suffered a heart attack at the age of 30 and decided to take a step back from her marketing and advertising job. The Lancashire dog-lover started to volunteer for Guide Dogs for the Blind and has raised and trained 11 dogs, saying it ‘saved her life’, becoming an ambassador for the association. She went on to launch Scoff Paper as a safe, fun and entertaining product for pups and pooch parents alike.
The cards are made using natural ingredients, as well as Omega 3 and Omega 6, and are vegan friendly, grain free and gluten free. These can also be personalized, or standard, which is absolutely adorable. You get to choose from five different flavors, including bacon, beef, cheese, chicken or peanut butter, or, opt for unflavored.
The idea is you give the card to your furry baby… but it’s a card for you… for them to eat… to make you happy… because they’re happy.
If, like Santa, you too make a list a check it twice (as you’ve got to find out who’s naughty or nice), then you’ll quickly realize that there are no naughty dogs really.
Even when they are naughty, you can’t really stay mad at them for long, so what’s the point? With this in mind, we thought we’d create this Christmas chicken flavored card for dogs, just to show that no matter how mad you get, you’re never really mad at all. You could even only give this card if your pooch promises to be good from now on – and good luck to you for trying. But we can guarantee, that they’ll be well behaved, at least until they’ve eaten it all.
