This tiny and easy to use anesthetic apnea monitor connects between the endotracheal tube and your anesthesia machine. Breathe Safe’s sophisticated analysis algorithm will recognize and beep to indicate each breath from a 1 pound kitten or a 200 pound St. Bernard. The monitor will alert if the patient fails to breathe for 30 seconds. Features automatic turn-on and shut-off, unbreakable and waterproof. Veterinary use only.

Auto Shut-Off – When the pet is disconnected, the Pet Apnea Monitor will wait 25 seconds, then beep for 20 seconds before turning off. It’s best to put Breathe-Safe in a drawer or enclosed space so that moving room air will not trigger its sensitive circuitry.

Note – Almost all veterinary anesthetic drugs depress respiration in a dose related manner. This makes respiration monitoring an ideal tool to assess the anesthetic depth. Most emergencies during the anesthesia can be attributed to human errors. Simply due to lack of vigilance.
