INGREDIENTS OF INTEREST: 

› Magtein® (Magnesium L-Threonate): Magnesium
is an essential cofactor for more than 300 enzymes
involved in biosynthesis processes and energy
metabolism. It plays an essential role in many of the
brain’s functions. Magtein® is Magnesium I-threonate,
a new form of magnesium shown to effectively
raise the brain’s magnesium levels, which leads
to enhanced learning abilities, improved working
memory, and better short-and long-term memory
in animals. Magtein® was discovered by a group of
scientists from MIT, including a Nobel Prize laureate.
› N,N-Dimethylglycine HCl (DMG): DMG is referred
to as a “metabolic enhancer” because of the many
ways it can improve cellular metabolism, especially
under conditions of stress in the body. The liver
rapidly converts DMG into other useful metabolites
via a process known as oxidative demethylation.
By this process, the methyl groups of DMG can
be made available for transmethylation reactions,
a pathway which is essential to the production of
many vital products of the cell. The carbon units
produced from Dimethylglycine can be used to
form the essential amino acid Methionine, from
Homocysteine. Methionine in turn is used to
produce S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe), the active
transmethylating agent in the body. DMG can
therefore act as an indirect methyl donor and function
as an efficient “methionine pump” by converting
excess Homocysteine molecules to Methionine. This
process keeps the cells of the body in a high state of
transmethylation. 

› MCT (Sourced from Coconut Oil): MCTs are
abundant in natural coconut oil. Medium-chain
triglycerides (MCT) are correlated with lower weight,
and to decrease metabolic syndrome, abdominal
obesity, and inflammatory markers. The body rapidly
converts MCTs into ketones, which can be used as an
energy source by the brain. Ketones are produced
from stored body fat for energy.
› Omega 3 Fatty Acids: Omega-3 fatty acids from fish
oil and flaxseed meal are important for brain health
and normal brain functions.

› MicroActive® Resveratrol: MicroActive® Resveratrol
